Getting to know me...

Hi, I am Cindy Kawata.  I recently retired from working 20 years in the Aerospace industry and am so happy that I can now focus my time and energy on my love of jewelry making.  My husband and I have been married for 39 years.  We have one son, who we are proud to say is an educator teaching Physics to 11th-grade students at a local public charter school. 

How did I start making jewelry?  

About 12 years ago I had a stretch bracelet that broke.  I loved the bracelet, so I went to the local craft store to get the necessary materials to fix it. While there,  I browsed the bead aisle and was mesmerized and instantly inspired! That was all I needed to start making jewelry for myself and my friends. I soon found myself making more jewelry than I could wear or give away, so I decided to sell my jewelry at craft fairs... so I could buy more materials, LOL! (It's a vicious, but rewarding circle)

In my shop, you will find a large selection of handmade jewelry.  My designs incorporate a variety of materials such as mixed metals,  semi-precious stones,  crystals, Czech glass,  rhinestones, shells, coconut and wood.
